Wallasea Island

On our first visit to Wallasea Island I managed to miss the turning and found we were at a dead end with a deep ditch on one side, a fence on the other and the wheels edging a puddle almost as deep as a ford and too muddy to risk turning through. A good bit of reversing later I was back on track and ready for the walk. Very bracing was the wind on the high path. We chose a route with a few calm Brent Geese nearby. I look forward to going again soon and exploring further.
