Tree Time
Although I love walking in the various woodlands near to Southend I rarely manage to find a way of making an image that I am pleased with. Sometimes there is amazing light and colour, especially in Autumn, and I think how amazing it all is - but the images don't quite work. Recently, I went walking in Belfairs and left my camera at home. I negotiated the mud and had a great time exploring the different ways through the nature reserve. Wonderful. However, whenever I go for a walk in Leigh I tend to take a photo of the same tree. I didn't realise I did this until I started tidying up a few folders. I have
even tried to do a couple of paintings of it. It isn't in a wood but at the side of the road, up high and close to a great view. It might be an interesting one to choose for a study through the seasons.
